Brookfield's ARC Lands Duo for Uxbridge Campus Offices

Restaurant chain Pizza Express and JATO Dynamics, a market research company, are relocating to offices at Brookfield's ARC Uxbridge (within the Buckinghamshire border), taking 5,000 square feet and 13,500 square feet in the recently refurbished Building 01.

The companies will join biotech and pharmaceutical companies Bristol Myers Squibb, Parexel, Daiichi Sankyo and Amgen, together with snack company Mondelez and office equipment manufacturer Xerox.

Building 01 at the large campus development has recently undergone a full refurbishment to increase the office space. The work has led to an EPC A and BREEAM very good rating. Sustainable measures introduced include roof mounted PV panels and air source heat pumps.

Andrew Davies, leasing director at ARC, said in a statement: “We’re continuing to see demand for best-in-class office space and the recent move by both companies is testament to the community, and environment that we have built here on the campus.”

ARC Uxbridge is an innovation campus on 70 acres. It includes Adapt, a co-working hub for members, the Clubhouse, a café, seminar and meeting place, as well as parkland, with trails, sport pitches and a fishing lake.

Backed by Brookfield, Advanced Research Clusters or ARC is the Canadian investment giant's science, innovation and technology real estate platform

ARC Uxbridge is part of ARC’s science and tech network of clusters, joining Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, ARC West London and ARC Oxford. The company has five million square feet of development potential planned across the UK’s Golden Triangle, with three million square feet planned at the 700-acre Harwell site.
