Local businesses highlighted the following challenges to Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF) in April 2025:
- Workforce dynamic complexities associated with raising the national minimum wage.
- The need for better public transport between residential areas and business parks, particularly to help young people without access to a car take advantage of employment opportunities.
- The high cost of the Community Infrastructure Levy on agricultural buildings.
In addition, businesses within Buckinghamshire's film and TV sector are very concerned about the potential impact of the US president's plan to put 100% tariffs on films made outside of America.
